Night of the Earthquake
$4 for 72 hours VOD
Daisuke Gotô, 2002, 62 mins
From the director of A Lonely Cow Weeps at Dawn, this is another tale exploring the taboo sides of themselves that people hide.
This time our protagonists find themselves trapped in a building following an earthquake. The only reason they were in there at night was their lust for $100,000 being held in the safe of the office… None of them register high on the moral compass. As their situation unfolds however, they find the money is not all they are lusting after!
Featuring strong scenes from the very start, this is a dark and twisted tale, of dark and twisted people, from a director now known for more poignant and emotional stories.
