99 Women

AKA Island of Despair

AKA Prostitutes in Prison

A new batch of detainees arrives at a remote women’s prison, amongst which is the beautiful Maria Rohm (Venus in Furs, Marquis de Sade’s Justine) and Bond girl Luciana Paluzzi (Thunderball).

Here on the island, the inhabitants seem to be either sex-crazed female prisoners or sex-crazed female guards who also happen to be sadists. In turn, all the women must abide by the iron rule of the governor, played by Mercedes McCambridge (The Exorcist), who clashes with the newly arrived superintendent, Maria Schell (The Odessa File); who disapproves of her brutal ways.

Steamy scenes with semi-naked women, & copious amounts of girl on girl torture and sex, make this ‘Eurocult gem’ a truly authentic look at life on the inside!

“Epic shocker of caged women gone wild… where abused yet luscious young lovelies surrender to their own depraved desires”
